Music NL Week begins today, celebrating all things music in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Executive Director of Music NL, Tamara Kater says there will be something for everyone throughout the course of the next five days, culminating with the annual Music NL Week Gala and Awards.

She calls it “an amazing opportunity to get to see the best, the brightest, and the…up and coming of our province. You can travel all over the province in a musical parade, but just by going down to the Rock House, The Ship or the Black Sheep this week and take in so many different types of music” She says artists will rotate through in 30-minute sets giving audiences “a real variety of wonderful talent from this province.”
