RCMP are hoping the public will be able to help as they investigate the theft of a solar-powered speed sign, removed from the Main Road in Princeton on the Bonavista Peninsula.

RCMP say the suspect, or suspects, cut down the sign, and dragged it into the nearby woods.

Police say the sign is very heavy and it’s likely that more than one person was needed in order to move it.

RCMP are looking for anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5th.
