Three people were taken to hospital with serious injuries as the result of a collision involving two pickup trucks at the intersection of the Road to the Isles and the Gander Bay Road near Boyd’s Cove.
RCMP say the crash occurred just before 4:00 yesterday afternoon.
Both drivers and one passenger were taken to James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander for treatment.
The collision forced the closure of the intersection for several hours last evening.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
