Metro police interrupted a dangerous manoeuvre on Kenmount Road in St. John’s last night.

Two vehicles started racing side-by-side from a green light at about 9:30, reaching speeds in excess of 100 km/hr, nearly double the limit.

The two men, ages 20 and 35, were ticketed and had their vehicles impounded.
