It’s the final week to get tickets for the VOCM Cares 50/50 draw.

The VOCM Cares Foundation has beefed up its prize lot for this year’s campaign, with the runner-up getting behind the wheel of a Honda CR-V Hybrid from Steele Honda for twelve months free of charge.

First place still receives half of proceeds from ticket sales.

Steffan Pike, GM of Steele Auto, says it’s important for businesses like his to give back to the community by supporting charitable causes.

“I think it’s very important to understand that a pillar of business is supporting the communities that support us,” he told VOCM.

“We just want to make sure that we’re doing everything we can to support everybody in that community, and it’s just part of building a sustainable business.”
