Some pet owners in the province would like to see tax on vet care for their animals eliminated.
Mike Kehoe, chair of the PetOwners Collective, says the consolidation of ownership of veterinary clinics is creating intolerable financial burden for those who have furry members in the household.
The group is calling on government to eliminate the 15 per cent sales tax on pet care in today’s budget.
