RNC are investigating an assault on Topsail Road yesterday evening.

Officers responded to a fast food restaurant and found a man with injuries.

Police determined that the assault had occurred at a home in the Cowan Heights area.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment.

The investigation continues, and no charges have been laid.
