The Urgent Care Clinic in Mount Pearl, which has yet to open for its intended purpose, will soon be occupied, but by facilities currently housed at Mundy Pond.
Effective June 1, the Community Walk-in Clinic and the Newcomer Clinic will relocate to the Mount Pearl Urgent Care facility at 850 Topsail Road.
Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services is having trouble finding staff for the Mount Pearl Urgent Care Clinic, hence the failure to meet its targeted opening date last fall.
The reason for vacating Mundy Pond is to allow for renovations.
The hours for the walk-in clinic will remain the same, and patients at the newcomer clinic will be contacted directly regarding their appointments.
