A heavily damaged truck towing a floating dock recently caught the attention of a patrol officer on the Bay d’Espoir highway.
RCMP say the officer was travelling in the area on Saturday and noticed a heavily-damaged truck with no front bumper creeping along at a low speed while towing a floating dock on two separate trailers.
The officer pulled the vehicle over and found that neither the truck nor the two trailers were fit for the road.
The 55-year-old driver was ticketed for driving without having cargo properly secured, and for violations of licence and equipment regulations.
