The spring session of the House of Assembly is being extended.
Deputy Government House Leader Joedy Wall gave a Notice of Motion on the matter in the Legislature yesterday.
He says the sitting will be extended beyond this Thursday, but there is no end date given, only to say that the House will adjourn at the call of the chair. He also says that the week of June 8 will not be a constituency week.
The move does not come as a surprise, given that the provincial budget is still being debated.
