An Ontario man has been arrested and charged after over $2-million worth of contraband cigarettes were seized near Labrador West.
The RNC were called on Friday to reports of a single-vehicle collision involving a trailer along the Trans-Labrador Highway.
While there were no injuries, police say the accident did lead them to the discovery of over 21,000 cartons containing over 4.2-million cigarettes.
Thirty-year-old Jordan White has been charged with trafficking in contraband tobacco.
