The Veteran’s Memorial Highway has reopened to traffic after its closure this morning following a collision.

RCMP thank the public for their patience, understanding and cooperation.

There is no immediate word on possible injuries or any details on the collision.

The Veteran’s Memorial is closed to traffic between Roaches Line and Makinsons due to what police are calling a “very serious” two vehicle collision in the area.

RCMP and emergency responders are on the scene.

The road is expected to remain closed for an extended period.
