Police and other law enforcement officers from across the region are participating today in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run in support of Special Olympics.

Participants will gather at Paradise Park from where the run will start this morning at 10:00. Runners will then head down Topsail Road, past the Mount Pearl City Depot and then down Kenmount Road to the finish line at Capital Subaru.

Expect some traffic slowdowns along the route.

Funds will be collected along the way.
