Anyone trying to head into St. John’s over the weekend knows the hangup at the Foxtrap Access Road all too well.
Traffic heading eastbound came to a crawl or complete stop at several times throughout the weekend – even while there were no construction crews on site.

Those who tried to get around Foxtrap by taking the exit to Holyrood didn’t gain a whole lot as work is also ongoing on the main road in Holyrood.
The Department of Transportation issued a statement last evening apologizing for the delays and says it is working with the contractor to improve traffic flow on both projects.
