A clean-up is taking place today at one of the most popular beaches on the northeast Avalon.
The Aquatic Conservation Initiative, in partnership with law firm McInnes Cooper, is participating in a clean-up at Middle Cove Beach.
Gabby Reifesel of the Aquatic Conservation Initiative told VOCM Open Line with guest host Darrin Bent that volunteers from the law firm have been involved with them for years participating in a number of environmental initiatives.
“This year, they’re coming down to Middle Cove Beach,” to help clean up debris. She says local residents are welcome to join in from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
