RCMP have released surveillance images of two suspects in connection with an investigation into two incidents at businesses in Stephenville early Wednesday morning.

Surveillance footage shows two people attempting to break into the Hollow Noggin Vape Shop on Main Street at around 3:00 a.m.

Although no cash was taken, a number of products were stolen, and damage was caused to the exterior of the building.

Police then learned of another attempted break-in at a nearby business around 3:30 a.m.

The same two people tried to gain access to the Oceanic Cannabis and Coffee Shop on the other side of the street. Nothing was taken, but the outside of the building was damaged.

RCMP say both suspects were dressed in black and one was taller than the other.
