A 64-year-old man has been charged stemming from a stolen vehicle investigation launched last month.

RNC was contacted about a vehicle stolen from the centre city area on June 18th.

Two days later, police were contacted, tipping them off to the possible location of the vehicle in question at a property on Blackhead Road in Shea Heights.

A police search located the stolen vehicle, as well as a second vehicle that had been reported stolen on April 8th.

The accused is facing two counts of possession of stolen property, and he was released to appear in court at a later date.
