One person is dead following a house fire in Cannings Cove over the weekend.
The incident happened Sunday morning in the community along the Bonavista Bay.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated, and the provincial Fire Commissioner’s Office and the Chief Medical Examiner have been involved in the case.
Mounties say they will not be releasing any further information at this time.
