Today’s the day where the VOCM Cares Foundation attempts to stuff a Metrobus with school supplies as part of the Block the Bus campaign in support of the Single Parent Association of Newfoundland and Labrador.

VOCM will be live on location at the Village Shopping Centre in St. John’s from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. collecting school supplies for children and teens in need.

There will be activities throughout the afternoon, including balloon animals and special visits from the minions and Buddy Jr.

Donations are also being accepted in central Newfoundland at Terra Nova Chevrolet Buick GMC in Grand Falls-Windsor during those same hours.

Those who are unable to attend but would still like to contribute can make a donation through the SPANL website.
