A team from Newfoundland and Labrador has been crowned world champions in pool.
The group, known as the Cuefoundland Crew, earned the title at the American Poolplayers Association Team Captains championships in Las Vegas.
The tournament is described by the Canadian Poolplayers Association – NL East Pool League as the “biggest amateur pool stage in the world.”
The group beat the Saginaw Bay Misfits out of Michigan to earn the title.
