No serious injuries after a float plane went down in the woods near Paddy’s Pond just after takeoff Saturday evening.
Officials are holding the scene for the Transportation Safety Board who will probe the cause of the mishap.
VOCM News has confirmed that the pilot and passenger were assessed for minor injuries by paramedics at the scene, but walked away from the crash.
The emergency response resulted in the temporary closure of the westbound lanes of the Trans Canada near Paddy Pond.
