The search continues for a pet that ran off after a traffic accident near Gander one week ago.
Reid, a 110 pound Bernese mountain dog – poodle cross, ran into the woods after the crash just west of Gander.
Despite a number of potential sightings, the friendly but skittish, dog has yet to be retrieved.
Reid’s owner Marisa Reid told VOCM Open Line with Brian Callahan they’re looking for the public’s help.
She is asking for people to check trail cameras and garbage cans in the area and if they see Reid, not to approach him as he is probably scared, but to notify the family immediately at 709-640-4357.
