Here’s an update on the Mount Pearl traffic situation in the area of Commonwealth Avenue.

The city will be installing the crosswalk lights today at the T’Railway crossing, but they will not be operational until the power connection is complete. Until then, pedestrians are asked to use the signalized crossing at the intersection of Commonwealth, Park and Ruth.

There will be temporary lane closures as the work continues.
