Due to the ongoing water issues in the town of Holyrood, the SquidFest Beach Party Goes Country concert scheduled for tonight has been cancelled.
The town says currently half of Holyrood has been without water for almost 24 hours, and all available resources are being directed toward addressing the situation and supporting residents.
In a statement posted to Facebook this afternoon Mayor Crawley said they recognize the significant amount of work, planning and preparation that has gone into tonight’s event, and are sorry for the disappointment this decision may cause.
Tickets can be refunded through Showpass.
