Provincial forestry officials are investigating a recent poaching incident on the Black Duck Siding Resource Road near Stephenville.
Resource Enforcement Officers say a caribou had been shot and left on a bog off the road sometime between September 11th and September 12th.
Anyone with information or who witnessed suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact Forestry officials in Stephenville at 709-649-5268.
