The Saint John Sea Dogs scored early and never looked back in the season opener of the QMJHL at the Mary Brown’s Centre last night. They went ahead 4-0 over the Regiment before the home team fought back with a pair in the third to make it a 4-2 final.
The visitors went 3/5 on the power play, and outshot the Regiment 39-27
Matthew Frost and Dmitrii Kubantsev scored for the home team.
The two lock horns again tonight at Mary Brown’s at 7:00.
