Bannerman Park Unveiling ‘Peace Pole’ This Afternoon

A “Peace Pole” is being unveiled in Bannerman Park today.

The structure is meant to serve as a symbol of peace, inclusion and respect, and will include the message “May Peace Prevail on Earth.”

Representatives from the Rotary Club and the City of St. John’s will be on hand for the unveiling at 1:00. VOCM News will be there.
