Car enthusiasts came out as usual at the A&W on Kenmount Road last night and Carl Hamlyn of the Newfoundland Antique and Classic Car Club says it was a tame affair just “the way it should be.”
Last week’s show garnered plenty of negative attention…and criminal charges against a 17-year-old Corvette driver after he peeled out of the parking lot and spun around three times in traffic.
The club, which has been gathering at the A&W on Thursday nights for decades, has partnered with the RNC to have a presence at the shows to help prevent bad behaviour and last night’s show drew a lot of people.
