The driver of a car that crashed on Mayor Avenue in June, claiming the life of a 24-year-old passenger, is now facing additional drug-driving charges.
Twenty-one-year-old Koushik Ghosh was previously charged with impaired driving causing death, impaired driving causing bodily harm and dangerous driving causing death in connection with the crash.
RNC say lab tests have led to new charges against the accused including one count of driving while impaired by drugs causing death, and two counts of driving while impaired by drugs causing bodily harm.
The accused will appear in court at a later date.
