The ward councillor representing Kenmount Terrace is hopeful bussing will alleviate concerns.
Tom Davis says where a school is built is up to the province.
He told VOCM Open Line with Brian Callahan that he understands residents’ concerns, but believes Ladysmith Drive is wide enough to accommodate higher traffic levels.
He says it’s something city council will be watching.
The increases in school busing…I’m hoping that that’s going to mean there are fewer people. I’m hearing what Sarah Stoodley said last week…it’s something we’ve got to watch closely and deal with it as it goes along,” says Davis.
