The Shoppers Drug Mart on Torbay Road was extensively damaged during a break and enter early this morning.
The owner of the store has confirmed that around 4:40 a.m. a truck was used to ram through the front window in an attempt to gain access to the store.

He says that two people were involved in the break in, but that the truck has not yet been located. He also says that they may have been injured during the incident, citing blood found on the debris.
Despite the extensive damage to the front end of the store, the owner says they expect to reopen for business as usual tomorrow.
