Bell Aliant is expanding capacity at nearby cell tower sites to address problems experienced by customers since the collapse of a cell phone tower on Blackmarsh Road last week.
The top portion of the huge tower toppled onto a commercial building last Friday evening. There were no injuries but damage was extensive.
The investigation into the cause of the tower collapse continues.
Since then, some customers have reported problems with cell phone service.
Bell Aliant says its expanding capacity at nearby sites to help improve coverage.
