A Mount Pearl man convicted in May of making a bomb threat at the Health Sciences Center is back in custody, accused of assaulting a man with a beer bottle.
Michael Stacey of Farrell Drive was sentenced in May for threatening to blow up the emergency room at HSC. He served his time and was released.
Stacey was brought back into custody over the weekend. He’s accused of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon—in this case a beer bottle. Both charges are against another man.
He is also accused of uttering threats against two police officers and breaching court orders.
Stacey returns to court today for a bail hearing.
