Newfoundland and Labrador has achieved another two-week stretch with no new cases of COVID-19.
To date, 14,117 people have been tested for the virus. That number, however, does not include the possibility of multiple tests being conducted on an individual.
There are just two active cases of COVID-19 in the province, one of which remains in the hospital. A total of three people have died.
Of the provincial total of 261 cases, 243 were recorded in the Eastern Health region; 8 in the Central Health region; 6 in the Labrador-Grenfell Health region; and 4 in the Western Health region.
Public health officials are encouraging everyone to continue practicing good hygiene, and to follow infection prevention to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.
