Today marks two years since Trevor “Pepsi” Hamlyn was last seen, and with little information surrounding his disappearance, his family is still searching for closure.
Hamlyn disappeared from his Imogene Crescent home on June 16, 2018, seemingly without a trace.
He was planning to go to a party that night and bought a two-litre bottle of Big 8 Ginger Ale and a bottle of Jamieson Whisky, which police have been asking the public to keep an eye out for.
Hamlyn’s sister, Ashley, says there are a few things her family finds suspicious about the disappearance, including the story of an injury he suffered in the woods a few weeks prior to going missing.
Trevor told his family that he was holding up a piece of wood as his friend tried to cut it with an axe. His sister says they grew up in the woods, and Trevor would have known better. She believes that her brother was injured on purpose.

The cell phone that was found.
As well, the family finds it suspicious that Hamlyn’s old cell phone was found “so clean, and pristine, and not weathered” in the woods during the first search. She believes it was planted there.
Hamlyn says she will never stop looking for her brother because there is a big hole that’s been left in the family, which won’t be filled until he is found.
Anyone with information on the disappearance of Trevor Hamlyn is asked to contact the RNC or Crime Stoppers.
