A 16-year-old from Deer Lake is awaiting a youth court appearance after driving dangerously on a dirt bike throughout Corner Brook.
RNC received a call just before 1:00 a.m. this morning involving an erratic driver on a dirt bike.
After a brief search, police located the vehicle twice which did not stop, and was not pursued.
An unmarked RNC vehicle located the boy a short time later and approached him on foot. He was arrested without incident.
The 16-year-old was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, fleeing police and breach of probation along with a number of tickets.
He was released to a parent and will appear in youth court in October.
