Rainfall and heat warnings are in effect for many parts of Labrador on Sunday. The Bigland can expect up to 40mm of rain and 30-degree temperatures with the humidex.
Gander Weather Office Meteorologist, Justin Boudreau, says rainfall amounts will be between 15 mm to 25 mm along the coast, and up to 40 mm further inland.
He says that today’s 30-degree weather will continue Sunday until the rain begins.
Boudreau expects temperatures to reach around 28 degrees during the day and then drop to around nine degrees Sunday evening.
