The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning about unusual incidents popping up across North America.
It appears that people across the country have been reporting receiving unsolicited packages of seeds in the mail.
The CFIA is warning people never to plant seeds from unknown origin.

Seeds from outside the country that have not been previously authorized by government officials could prove harmful. They could result in invasive species and out-compete agricultural and native plants.
They advise that any seed package received by mail that was not ordered, be immediately reported to the nearest Canadian Food Inspection Agency office.
