Another hot one is on tap for the island today.
Heat warnings have been issued across a large chunk of the island, including the Avalon.
Environment Canada meteorologist, Justin Boudreau says we can expect highs of around 28° today, and a low tonight between 18° and 20°C.
According to Boudreau, the hot and humid weather will be sticking around tomorrow. The heat warnings are expected to continue as temperatures stay around 26° and 28°C.

The meteorologist advises that people use caution when out in the heat. He says to stay out of the sun if you are feeling unwell and drink lots of water.
Some relief from the heat and humidity is expected Friday.
