On Monday, we will get our first glimpse of how schools in Newfoundland and Labrador will look come September.

The English School District will release “A Safe Return to School” starting at 12:00 Monday through a virtual news conference.

The plan will reflect the direction and guidance provided through the provincial government’s K-12 Education Re-Entry Plan, and from public health authorities. It also provides school administrators and families with direction and information to help them prepare for school reopening.

Goronwy Price, Chair of the Board, and Tony Stack, Director of Education, will be joined by the Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald.

The news conference will be broadcast live for public viewing through the District’s YouTube channel and linked through www.nlesd.ca.
