The Premier-designate says he’s disappointed to see Carol Anne Haley step down from her role as minister for the status of women. Still, he understands her decision to find a balance between public and personal life.
Haley will not seek re-election in Grand Bank-Burin after winning two elections.
Andrew Furey and his cabinet will be sworn in as Premier on Wednesday. Haley will stay on as MHA until the election is called.
