Firefighting crews, including two water bombers, have been dispatched to a 5-10 hectare forest fire in Terra Nova.
Crews received the call just before 3 pm today and dispatched the tankers not long after.
Firefighting efforts were temporarily slowed as one of the two water bombers had to stop and refuel, it has since returned to battle the blaze.
Provincial Fire Duty Officer Jeff Motty says that they haven’t received any reports of danger to nearby dwellings or people at this time.
