The NDP feels it’s time for the provincial government to live up to its commitment to the people of Lewisporte.
Leader Alison Coffin met with the Lewisporte Town Council and says they have done their part – now it’s time for government to do theirs.
The town was asked by government a couple of years ago to develop an economic plan to diversify the economy, which it did.
Coffin has written Premier-designate Andrew Furey looking for support and action on the file.
