The RNC are investigating after a 24-year-old woman was assaulted on a trail in Conception Bay South on Saturday.
Between 6 and 6:30 p.m., a woman was approached from behind and assaulted by a man not known to her on the trail between Topsail Beach and Topsail Bluff.
She sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The man responsible is described as being in his fifties with short grey hair. RNC say he has an average build and is about five feet six inches tall. He was wearing light coloured cargo shorts with a royal blue short-sleeve shirt.
Police are advising people to avoid taking the trail alone, especially at night, until more information is released about the incident.
