A deep-sea denizen had one local turbot fishing crew scratching their heads.
Garry Goodyear posted a picture of the unusual creature that was hauled up in their nets to Facebook.
It had large eyes, two wing-like pectoral fins, and a long, wide nose.
The long-nose chimera is part of the family of cartilaginous fish commonly known as ghost sharks.
The long snout is used to find food, and they usually swim at depths of between 200 and 2,000 metres.
