A 30-year-old Cormack man is facing impaired driving charges after a rollover crash on the Port au Port Peninsula highway near the Cold Brook turnoff last night.
RCMP were called to the scene around 9:30.
The driver, who police say was showing signed of impairment, was taken to hospital in Stephenville for assessment and then to the detachment where he allegedly failed breath tests.
He was arrested for impaired driving, his licence was suspended and his vehicle impounded. He was released to appear in court at a later date.
