Generosity rang through the airwaves today, as community members and donors came together to support another successful Discovery Health Care Foundation radiothon.

Over $44,500 was raised in support of the health care foundation.

Proceeds will support the foundation’s ongoing mental health project—now in the second year of its four-year commitment—as well as go towards a Sentimag Monitor and Probe, which will be used for breast cancer patients at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital.

The Discovery Health Care Foundation supports 96 communities and about 30,000 people through seven local facilities.
