Thousands are expected to take part in a virtual event tonight for this year’s ‘Light the Night’ fundraiser in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The event brings people together to “take back the light” and show support for those affected by blood cancers.
Instead of an in-person walk, tonight’s event has moved to an online event—as the society encourages people to continue to show their support and resilience.
The virtual event gets underway at 8:30 p.m. Newfoundland time on the Light the Night website.
