The City of St. John’s says it’s as ready as can be for Hurricane Larry’s arrival tonight.
The city’s deputy manager for public works, LynnAnn Winsor, briefed reporters this morning outside the municipal depot.
She says if there is a silver lining, it’s the time of year this is happening.
Meanwhile, Metrobus has announced it will be terminating service two hours earlier than usual tonight in anticipation of the storm, in the interests of safety for its staff and riders.
