Tomorrow is Remembrance Day, and that means there are some service closures in the capital city.
All city offices and facilities will be closed on Thursday.
Waste and recycling will not be collected. Collection for area 4 and 5 will go ahead on Friday along with recycling for area 4B and 5B.
Since it is a Shops Closing Holiday paid parking regulations will not be enforced.
Public washrooms will be open at Bannerman Park, Bowring Park and Quidi Vidi Lake.
There will be a Royal Canadian Legion Remembrance Day ceremony at the War Memorial in St. John’s at 11 a.m.
The Royal Canadian Legion will hold also a wreath laying ceremony at the Field of Honour at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, along with a service and meet and great throughout the morning.

8:15 AM: Buses depart Branch No. 1 for Field of Honor
8:30 AM: Remembrance Service and Wreath Laying at Field of Honor
9:15AM Remembrance Service and Wreath Laying at Branch No. 1 Memorial Monument
12:30 PM Meet and Greet at Branch No.1, soup and sandwiches served
